Rashis & Houses (Bhav)

The 12 signs show your temperament; the 12 houses show which area of life each planet's energy plays out in.

Movable, Fixed & Dual Signs

Beyond ruling planet and element, every rashi also carries one of three qualities (gunas) — Chara, Sthira or Dwiswabhava — that shows how it tends to initiate, sustain or adapt through change.

🌬️

Chara · Movable

चर लग्न

Mesh (Aries), Kark (Cancer), Tula (Libra), Makar (Capricorn)मेष, कर्क, तुला, मकर

Initiating and action-first — quick to start new ventures, comfortable with change and travel, but can struggle to see things through to completion.

⛰️

Sthira · Fixed

स्थिर लग्न

Vrish (Taurus), Sinh (Leo), Vrishchik (Scorpio), Kumbh (Aquarius)वृष, सिंह, वृश्चिक, कुंभ

Steady and determined — strong follow-through, loyal and resilient once committed, but can resist change or hold on longer than is useful.

🌘

Dwiswabhava · Dual

द्विस्वभाव लग्न

Mithun (Gemini), Kanya (Virgo), Dhanu (Sagittarius), Meen (Pisces)मिथुन, कन्या, धनु, मीन

Adaptable and dual-natured — flexible, good at bridging or transitioning between situations, but can be indecisive or of two minds.
